Loving it so far!

Very opaque and covers well. Thick creamy consistency.

Excellent viscosity. Thick but not too thick. Allows thinning for multiple layers for a smoothie consistency. Excellent! Just need a new type of cap, like the tin caps for classic spaghetti bottles, with outside serrations for gripping, because your current cap hurts the hands . When gesso dries from residue,it bonds with the plastic cap.- hard to open, and hurts the palm

Great coverage and finish. I’ve also used it in place of white paint when glazing. Its matte finish reduces some of the added sheen you can get when painting with glazes and veils.

Have had this 1000mL gesso container at home for weeks completely unable to open it. Please change the packaging. Brand new, it is apparent that there is paint dried in the threading of the container. Due to the short and stocky shape of the container and very wide lid, I can’t get a good enough grip on the lid/jar to twist through the dried up paint.

Provably a great product (as is all Tri art I’ve tried), but will remain unknown. Will try returning to my local store for a new jar…
