Golden Orange is a mixture of quinacridone burnt orange, quinacridone crimson, transparent pyrrole red, and carbon black. Despite being mostly organic in nature, Golden Orange is an earth orange in character, with a red leaning undertone. Golden Orange surpasses traditional earth colours like Burnt Sienna with greater intensity of colour and transparency. Use as a mixing compliment in place of traditional earth pigments or apply as a glaze to reveal its rich brown undertone.
Super rich texture and vibrancy
Purchased as a replacement for Quin Burnt Orange - no longer available. This Golden Orange works well for that purpose. Very transparent, well pigmented and the right hue.
I've been using Tri-Art Polymer Medium Gloss for years to make the paints I use in my paintings. I find it perfect. It's always consistent, very durable when dry, and versatile. It's great.
