Ultramarine Blue Modern is an update on the classic ultramarine blue pigment. This hue amps up the low tinting strength of ultramarine with phthalo blue (green shade), while retaining the transparency, warmth and matte characteristics that make this pigment enduringly popular. As a mixing compliment, Ultramarine Blue Modern's boosted tinting strength allows it to hold up to titanium white and other high tinting modern colours. Apply as a glaze to bring out its violet-blue undertone.
I've been using Tri-Art Polymer Medium Gloss for years to make the paints I use in my paintings. I find it perfect. It's always consistent, very durable when dry, and versatile. It's great.
